How come the chubby Santa Claus put himself into Dsquared Clothes? Santa can’t, our megastar could. The pop icon Madonna plays Santa for Malawi children by putting on her Dsquared Jeans.
Boxes of toys, chocolate, other sweets and clothes were shipped with a handwritten note from the star, which read, “To my Malawi children on Christmas and Boxing Day. I wish I was with you.” Inside the goodie bags were miniature Christmas cards signed by Madonna, Lourdes and Rocco. “I wish to see those little guys soon on my Dsquared Shirt which they like best,” the singer added.
Madonna wasn’t able to visit Malawi this Christmas, but she let the children in the six orphanages she funds there know they were very much on her mind this holiday season. So she came up with this smart idea by acting like Santa to send her gifts to those children. But one thing different from Santa and Madonna is that the later looked more gorgeous on her Dsquared Polo Shirt.
Lucy Chipeta, director of Home of Hope Orphanage in Mchinji, where Madonna adopted son David in 006 was watching more than 500 children scrambled for toys and bars of chocolate with great joy. “This is so sweet. Look how happy they are. Madonna also asked us to invite as many villagers as possible for the Christmas party”. On her interview last Christmas, Madonna mentioned she always enjoyed the traditional dances the villagers perform for her every time she visited Malawi. One day I will invite them to perform on the stage with me on my Dsquared T-Shirt.”
The singer planned to return to Malawi in November alongside U singer Bono, but the trip, according to sources, was rescheduled for the spring. Although it is a few months later, the children must overjoyed by the visit of this lovely star on her Dsquared Cap.
